Abstract

This paper introduces how an automatic system for supervision and management of construction schedule was established to monitor the High Speed Rail BOT Project in Taiwan. With the application of P3 and PDA through e-mail, field sites, field offices and headquarters can be linked together so that information can be transferred, shared and updated in an economical, simple, instant and correct manner. As a result, the governmental competent authorities may exercise their supervisory functions timely and satisfactorily.
