Abstract:

High-rise steel structure buildings are generally constructed using tower cranes. But in this conventional method, quality and work schedules are easily affected by wind or rainfall, and there are many dangerous working conditions. The automated building construction system, called ABCS, is new construction method which integrates all-weather warehouse facilities, automated conveyor equipment and centralized computer control. ABCS is developed in order to improve productivity and the working environment compared with conventional method. In this paper, we present the report applied to a 26- story steel structure high-rise building.
