Discussion of Influence on Pile Quality by Removing Pile Foundation Casing with Vibrator

Abstract:

The process of pile sleeve removal will affect the quality of piles directly. In general, there are three types of working method to remove pile casing and the equipment also has significant effect on the quality of pile after casing removal. Recent years, Non-destructive Testing methods were used to assess the quality of pile. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of casing removal on the quality of constructed bored pile by vibrator. The result indicates that the quality of constructed bored pile is able to meet the requirement of design specification or the casing is removed by vibrator.
