Abstract:

The idea of the robot system for the assembiing of the reinforcement cages for reinforced concrete beams and columns and the assembling process are presented. The process of the assembling requires the moving of the rebars, which are rather flexible and therefore deformed due to their dead-weight. Additionally the accelerations during the movement could cause their oscillations. As a consequence, permanent deformations of rebars could also appear. The purpose of this paper is to present a study of the behaviour of the flexible rebars, which are exposed to the accelerations during the movement. The analyses, which enable rather accurate response of the rebars are shown. The results of the analyses are needed in the path planning of the robots, which move the rebars during the assembling process.
