Automation and Robotics in Construction - State of the Art in Finland

The thrust area of Finnish construction automation is concrete component prefabrication. Also mobile on site robotics and other themes are developed. It is recognised that changes in organisation, building systems and information management are needed in connection to the introduction of advanced automation in construction. National projects, which aim at triggering such changes, are underway.
