Development in Underwater Robots

To characterize the development in underwater robots in the areas of subsea oil and gas production, nuclear power plants or oceanography examples have been selected. They are discussed with respect to their degree of automation and in relation to the sensorial capabilities. Development projects are shown from European countries like Great Britain, France, Italy, and Germany as well as form overseas like Japan and Australia.
