1. Tucker-Hasegawa Award The former board members Dr. Tucker and Dr. Hasegawa have established an award, the Tucker Hasegawa Award, which also
includes a monetary prize (made available by IAARC). The award ceremony takes place at the annual ISARC symposium.
The prestigious award is for Distinguished Contributions to the Field of Automation and Robotics in Construction.
The intent of the Tucker-Hasegawa Award is to recognize individuals in industry or academia who have made a major,
sustained contribution to the field of Automation and Robotics in Construction. The annual Award will consist of a
customized plaque and a cash prize. An official award presentation ceremony for each year in which the Award is made
shall be held during the proceedings of the International Symposium on Automation and Robotics in Construction held in the
given year.
2. ISARC Best Paper Award The objective of the annual ISARC Best Paper Award is to recognize the best contribution to the body of theoretical or
practical knowledge in Construction Automation and Robotics presented at the yearly symposium.
