Venue

National University of Singapore

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is Singapore’s flagship university and a leading global institution for education, research, and innovation. With its main Kent Ridge campus and specialist sites across the city, NUS spans engineering, computing, design and environment, medicine, business, and the social sciences. Its vibrant ecosystem—world-class laboratories, industry partnerships, and NUS Enterprise (including the BLOCK71 startup network)—translates ideas into real-world impact. In built-environment and robotics, NUS collaborates closely with government and industry on automation, AI, and sustainable cities. As the host venue, NUS offers modern conference facilities, convenient city access, and a dynamic community that connects academia, practitioners, and entrepreneurs.

College of Design and Engineering

The NUS College of Design and Engineering (CDE) brings together engineering, architecture, and the built environment to create sustainable, resilient, and digitally enabled cities. Formed through the integration of the former Faculty of Engineering and the School of Design & Environment, CDE spans disciplines from civil, mechanical, electrical & computer, chemical and biomedical engineering to architecture, building, industrial design, and real estate. Our community works closely with government and industry on robotics and automation, AI and data, advanced materials, energy systems, and human-centred design. With collaborative studios, makerspaces, and world-class laboratories—including campus net-zero testbeds—CDE translates ideas into real-world impact. As an ISARC partner, CDE provides an ideal setting for researchers and practitioners advancing construction automation and the future of cities.

Engineering Auditorium

The Engineering Auditorium (EA) at NUS is the flagship lecture and event hall of the College of Design and Engineering on Kent Ridge Campus. Conveniently located at Block EA, Level 1, along Engineering Drive 1, EA offers a tiered theatre with professional AV support and a spacious foyer for registration, poster sessions, or industry showcases. It is widely used for plenaries, keynote talks, examinations, and large community events. EA is a short walk from CDE teaching blocks and study spaces, and is well-connected by campus routes and public buses along Clementi Road, with nearby carparks for drivers. For wayfinding, search “ENG-AUD” on the NUS venue/campus maps.
