This paper discusses theoretical concept and principles of the theory assessing the technological development of working tasks in construction. The relationship between the complexity of tasks, cost of manual labour, technological advancement of the equipment and other factors is studied and quantified. Using the Fisher-Pray models, the dependence is established and summing up conclusions are drawn.
